His unique sense of humor

Although he occasionally used four-letter words in his act, this language was not central to his gags, instead being just exclamation/filler phrases during his stage discourse.

His onstage personality, while a bit timid, was always endearing; he would enjoyably joke with the audience if they didn’t respond particularly well to a joke.

He was delighted to point out his own mistakes, such as the one about Strategic Grill Sites: “That joke was just a carbon copy of the last joke.” Mitch was known for his quick wit and the ability to turn mundane situations into hilarious material.

He could make small one- or two-liners out of whatever he was talking about, as well as somewhat longer material in which he would pick apart particular elements of everyday concepts or events in order to poke fun at them.
